At CFU Soccer Academy, we provide a comprehensive development pathway designed to meet the needs of players at every stage—from beginners to advanced competitors striving for the highest level of play. Our programs blend fun and fundamental skill-building at the beginner levels, with progressively challenging training environments, ensuring that every athlete receives the appropriate level of instruction and competitive opportunity. Led by professionally licensed coaches, our offerings range from Developmental Programs & Competitive recreational experiences to structured Competitive and Academy Programs that prepare players for higher levels of competition.

3v3 League

Program Structure

CFU Soccer’s 3v3 League is a fast-paced, fun-filled format ideal for player development during the off-season. This league offers small-sided games in a supportive, high-energy environment under the lights. Competitive and recreational divisions will be formed if enough teams register.

Standard 3v3 rules

Mid-November through mid-January

November 15, 2025 – open fields training begins
January 24, 2026 – championship games (finals)

Thursday evenings:  Open fields for training if desired.
Saturday evenings:  Games 6:00pm – 9:00pm

• Division 1 – Competitive
• Division 2 – Recreational

• 3v3 play – standard 3v3 rules with 12-minute halves
• 12-game regular season (2 games each session) + playoffs
• Trophies/medals for finalists

• Youth soccer players born 2019 – 2007 (u7 – u19) 
• Open Adult division if enough interest
Coed teams with girls’ only division if enough teams
• Full teams with coach (up to 6 players recommended)
• Individual players (placed on house teams with CFU staff coach – limited)

• Bring your own coach or request a CFU staff coach (subject to availability)

• Team Entry: $450 per team
• Individual Entry: $100 per player
• Includes field access, referees, and playoff prizes. Uniforms not included.

• Early registration discount through October 12th – $75/team or $15/player.

*Wednesday Weekly Edge Clinics are provided by Central Florida United Soccer Academy (CFU Soccer) as a community-based, skill development opportunity. Participation does not constitute a tryout, roster placement, or commitment of any kind.  Per FYSA guidelines, players currently rostered on a competitive team with another FYSA are not able to participate. Recreational players are welcome to attend.*

Wednesday Weekly Edge

CFU Soccer’s Wednesday Weekly Edge is a no-cost training program focused on technical skill development for players born 2017 - 2014. Each week highlights a specific area of the game and is led by professionally licensed CFU coaches to help players refine their abilities in a structured setting.

Program Details

• Fall: September through mid-November

• Spring: March through mid-May

• Wednesday evenings
7:00pm – 8:30pm

• East Lake Sports & Community Complex

• Open to community of players born 2017 – 2014

• Technical training sessions with weekly focus – examples: attacking, defending, shooting, etc.

• Sessions run by CFU Staff Coaches

• Must register to attend

• Players (male and female) born between 2017 – 2014
